Tour Plan
After breakfast, you'll depart from Nairobi for Amboseli National Park. It's mostly famous for its stunning views of Africa's highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro. The park offers photographers the rare opportunity to snap photos of elephants, lions, zebras, and giraffes against the startling backdrop of Africa's most highest and famous mountain. You'll have lunch at your lodge upon arrival before heading out into the park for an afternoon game drive from 4:00 pm till around 6:30 pm.
You can either have a relaxed breakfast and depart for a full-day game drive at around 7:00 am with a picnic lunch and return back to the lodge late in the afternoon. Or you can depart at 6:00 am for an early morning game drive. Later, return to the lodge for breakfast and relax for the morning until mid-afternoon at 4:00 pm. You will depart on an afternoon game drive and you will return back to your accommodation at around 6:30 pm.
You'll be picked up early in the morning and driven to Lake Nakuru National Park. En route, you will pass through the Great Rift Valley which was formed by violent subterranean forces that tore apart the earth's crust. These forces caused huge chunks of the crust to sink between parallel fault lines and force up the molten rock in volcanic eruptions. You will pass through Lake Naivasha for your lunch, boat ride and walking safari. Lake Nakuru National Park is also known for its hundreds of thousands of flamingoes, and a rhino sanctuary harbouring a population of black and white rhinos. But the flamingoes, have always been the main attraction. At times there may be almost 1 million flamingoes in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep pink band around the edge of the lakeshore.
After the game drive, we head to Masai Mara National Reserve. Masai Mara forms part of the vast Serengeti plains which plays host to a chapter of the famous wildebeest migration. Wildebeests, zebras and antelopes cross the swollen Mara River in hopes of finding safety on the Masai Mara's sweeping plains. A safari in Masai Mara is an unforgettable highlight of any holiday in Kenya and without a doubt, a great destination in Africa.
After breakfast, we will have a full-day game drive, with packed lunch provided, or a morning and afternoon game drive. This reserve is well known for its black-maned lion, as well as its abundant resident wildlife. It's one of the few places where it's possible to see the Big Five during one game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tamed that they seek shelter from the hot sun under one's vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get a better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiast, almost 400 species have been recorded: among these 16 species of eagle, many hawks and falcons, 5 species of vultures, 8 species of storks, 4 of bustard (including the kori bustard) and many more.
After the five days of travel, you will have to return to your starting point which is Nairobi city. We're sure that you will return home with so many exciting and happy memories, and we hope that you will join us again on safari sometime in the future.
